Executive Director
An advocate of community-based solutions to local challenges, Ginna O’Connor joined The Caring Place as Executive Director in 2013. During her tenure at The Caring Place, Georgetown and northern Williamson County have grown tremendously, and, in turn, The Caring Place has expanded its programs and services to better meet the needs of neighbors in crisis. Ginna has over 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience working collaboratively to develop and support programs that address issues impacting our vulnerable and marginalized neighbors. This work has included assisting older adults to age in place and addressing social determinants of health including food insecurity, economic stability, housing, access to health care, and early childhood success. She holds a BA from Hiram College and an MPA from Cleveland State University. Ginna lives in Georgetown where she enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
